Cathy Bessant, Chief Operations and Technology Officer, Bank of America

Catherine P. Bessant is chief operations and technology officer at Bank of America, and is a member of the company’s executive management team. Since 2010, Bessant has led Global Technology and Operations (GT&O), delivering end-to-end technology and operating services across the company through nearly 95,000 employees and contractors in more than 35 countries.

Leadership Award Recipient

Cam Faison, SVP & CIO, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company

Cam Faison joined Charlotte Pipe and Foundry’s information systems department in 1983. He has held many IS positions related to application systems development, technology services and ERP implementations. A unique career opportunity was created when Cam was asked by the business to lead the company’s customer service center in 1990. He later led the sales and distribution implementation for an ERP system in 1995, returning to information systems. Since becoming CIO in 1998, he has been responsible for the company’s information systems, technology, security and acquisition integration.
